About Us

Our Story

We've been friends since Grade 1 — growing up together in the small town of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. Over the years, we've shared a lot together: skate sessions, surf trips, and a shared drive to become leaders in our community.

That drive took us to the University of Victoria, where Mitchell studied Linguistics and Axel majored in Economics and Environmental Studies. Between semesters, Mitchell worked in tree-planting, a job that shaped his work ethic and taught him grit and focus. Axel spent those years working as a sport-fishing guide and a finishing carpenter. This is where he developed a strong sense of craftsmanship and also an affinity for people.

The two of us have always felt connected to the outdoors, and we knew we wanted a job that kept us moving, outside, and engaged with our community. That's how Two Pines Exterior Solutions was born — a way for the two of us to combine our skills, values, and love for the Island into something we're proud of.

When we're not working, we're usually outside — skateboarding, playing disc golf, surfing, or exploring nature.

We bring that same energy to every job: honest work, done right, with care and attention.
